The All England Jumping Course, Hickstead, is the home of Breen Equestrian in the UK, only 200m from the hallowed turf of the International Arena. The facilites here are second to none.

Breen Equestrian UK is run by Shane and Chloe, with Catherine Woods as Head Groom and Yard Manager. Head of Logistics is Julia Bunn, ably backed up by husband Edward. While Shane is away competing, it is business as usual under the supervision of Chloe and her niece Lucy Bunn, supported by an excellent team of grooms and working pupils.

Being at Hickstead has allowed Breen Equestrian to develop into a World Class Equestrian business. Shane's career as an International Showjumper is going from strength to strength, with wins at home and abroad. Our competiton livery is first rate - what owner wouldn't be happy to see their horse receiving the best care at one of the leading venues in the world? Hickstead is also a superb venue for buying and selling horses, and also for advising clients on potential sales and acquisitions. Here you can test a horse's potential in every possible environment - from testing its Showjumping ability on a Martin Collins Arena to jumping a ditch or a hedge in the Sussex countryside.

On a typical day, you may find Shane on the Bunn Leisure Arena sharing his knowlege with working pupil David Simpson or pupil Konstantin Pysarenko, or taking a Workshop in association with Horses N Courses. Alternatively, it is stud work for Working Pupil Louise Larkin who may be helping Ed Lyall, from The Arundel Equine Hospital, to inseminate a mare with semen from Carmena Z.

On a successful equestrian business, Shane says: “It is important to look at the overall situation particularly in the current economic climate. Not only do I ride but both Chloe and I felt it was right to look at training other riders as well as breeding other horses from our Brood Mares – hence we are trying to cover all aspects related to the equestrian fields we are involved in.”

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION ..... Access to Hickstead is excellent. We are only fifteen minutes from Gatwick Airport and two hours from Dover. The continental show-jumping events are only a short drive and ferry ride away and overseas buyers can catch a flight to Gatwick from anywhere in the world.
